Walk the sandy trail exploring the shore, coastal dunes, and forests of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Skirt the base of a coastal dune while exploring wetlands, forests, and diverse ecosystems. Challenge yourself or a loved one to a race to the top of the dune or feel free to sit back and watch!

The ideal tour to learn more about Sleeping Bear Dunes and all it has to offer. Your guide will share local information, provide you with a park map, and prepare you for all of your northern Michigan travels.

Explore the shore for Petoskey stones (Michigan’s state stone), watch loons swim and vocalize offshore, spy birds of prey and sea gulls, or just sit in the sand and learn more about the park from your experienced guide.

Stroll slow and easy, run along the sandy shoreline, or float like a feather through the landscape. This family friendly setting in the National Lakeshore is an oasis of FuN! All sand, mostly level, totally awesome! We highly recommend morning tours in the summer. The dune landscape can be hot.
